We are excited to be meeting in our new church building at Jannali Anglican (85 Wattle Road, Jannali).

The following guidelines have been supplied by Youthworks on Feb 23, 2022.

Youth and children’s gatherings can be run on church property, in homes or outdoors with no density limits.

Children’s and youth gatherings are open to all regardless of vaccination status.

Vaccination of leaders is not required by law.

From Friday 25th Feb, Children and Youth over 12 as well as leaders are no longer required to wear masks indoors, including while singing.

Wearing of masks is encouraged where social distancing is not possible.

Children’s and youth programs should utilise outdoor settings where possible and increase ventilation indoors where possible by opening windows or through other means.

COVID-19 Safe Check-in is not required at youth and children’s ministry gatherings. Usual procedures for taking attendance should be followed.

Our youth mission is to make disciples as we pray and preach the gospel and challenge all people to connect with Jesus, grow in Jesus and serve Jesus.

Each of our youth groups and camps has a team of leaders who have been selected because of their character and ability in relating with young people. Teams will have leaders who are in their first year of youth ministry combined with seasoned leaders who have been involved for many years

All our youth leaders are required to undergo Safe Ministry training and have a government issued Working With Children Check (WWCC) number before working with young people. Youth leaders are linked with groups of youth for whom they take on the responsibility for pastoral care
