Youth
JOIN US THIS FRIDAY!
We can't wait to meet you. All are welcome to join us from Year 6-12.
Our Mission
Our youth mission is to make disciples as we pray and preach the gospel and challenge all people to connect, grow and serve Jesus. We believe that Jesus came to our world, lived the perfect life, died, and rose again for us. We long to see all young people come to joyfully live for Christ in all of life.
Our Leaders
Each of our youth groups and camps has a team of leaders who have been selected because of their character and ability in relating with young people. All our youth leaders have Safe Ministry training and a government issued Working With Children Check (WWCC) number.
See what's happening
If you’re looking for an awesome way to spend your Friday night, FUSE is the place to be! FUSE is for Years 6–8, and it’s all about learning more about God, getting involved in heaps of fun activities, and building great friendships in a safe, welcoming environment.
For those whose parents attend Saturday Church, there’s also our Saturday FUSE Bible Study. We start by gathering with the wider church at 5:30pm, then head to the Ministry Centre for games and a Bible discussion based on the same passage being preached in the service.
If your parents attend Morning Church, you’re invited to join our Sunday Morning FUSE Bible Study at 9:30am. We meet before the service and then move to the Ministry Centre for games and Bible discussion, again exploring the same passage as the main church gathering.
Camps that available for youth in FUSE are: FUSE CAMP 2026, SUMMER CAMP 2027 for those who will be in Yr 9 in 2027 and IGNITE 2027 for those in Yr 6 - 8 in 2027.
THIRST is a fun, welcoming, and laid-back group for Year 9–11 students! We run a variety of activities throughout the term (sometimes crazy, sometimes calm!) so there’s something for everyone. Whatever we’re doing, we always have a great time together!
As well as Friday nights, THIRST also meets every weekend to go deeper into God’s Word. Youth Church includes a 20-minute service with a short introduction to the Bible passage we’ll be exploring. We sing, pray and have our famous JAC Youth Weekly, where we highlight announcements and what’s coming up in the week ahead. After the service, we break into small groups to open the Bible together and dive into discussion. These groups are a space for questions, conversation, prayer, and encouragement.
Camps that are available for youth in THIRST are: THIRST SLEEPOVER 2026, KYCK #2 for YR 11 and KYCK #4 for Yr 9 & 10 and SUMMER CAMP 2027 for those in Yr 9-12 in 2027.
If you’re in Year 12, XII is just for you. As our senior youth group, XII is smaller and more tight-knit, creating space for deeper friendships, conversations and meaningful encouragement during such an important year of life. We meet together to support one another through the challenges and pressures that can come with Year 12. It’s a place where you can be known, ask honest questions, and grow in confidence in your faith.
As well as Friday nights, XII also meets every weekend to go deeper into God’s Word. They have their own year group Bible Study that is from at 4pm – 5.20pm in the Ministry Centre. Then they are able to join the rest of us for SNAC before attending our evening service at 6pm. Church is followed by a supper each week and a $7 dinner once a month. On the week that the Evening Church Dinner happens the JAC Youth SNAC Pass can be used at either SNAC or the Evening Church Dinner, but is not available for both.
Camps that are available for youth in XII are: KYCK #2 and ESCAPE.

There are a range of menu items that we have throughout the term. These include Pizza, Mexican, Pasta, Burgers, Indian, Asian, Hot Dogs. Special diets are catered for. SNAC is either paid for by cash on the night or by purchasing a SNAC JAC Youth Pass for either a term or a year. JAC Youth Passes can be purchased at the button below. During the school holidays, SNAC either goes to the local shops and returns to eat at the church or we go to a local McDonalds to eat.
