CMS Summer School 2018

CMS Summer School is a conference with a difference! Thousands gather at Katoomba each January for great Bible teaching and to focus on what God is doing around the world. It is strengthening, challenging and encouraging.

Richard Chin is the main speaker. Richard will unpack the supremacy of Jesus with seven talks from Colossians. Richard is the National Director of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) and the South Pacific Regional Secretary for the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES).

Chris & Stef Overhall will be at Summer School 2018. They will be sharing about the work that they hope to commence in Chile.

It is wonderful to meet and hear firsthand from missionaries. This is helpful in thinking through how we can also bring the message about our Lord Jesus across cultures. Our link missionaries are always encouraged to see us there as it reminds them that we are partnering with them.

People of all age groups love Summer School! Last year there were over 2500 adults and 1100 youth and children attending. The Steele and Woods families have experience with bringing children along and are available to answer questions.

Afternoons are for free time and there are many ways to enjoy it in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

There is an evening programme with missionary presentations and international mission speakers

Why not come up just for the day if you haven’t been before? We are planning a Jannali Summer School lunch for Wednesday the 10th of January. We would love you to join us.
